Malachite pendant necklace

This is a one of a kind statement Malachite pendant. It was handcrafted with bare copper wire and an accent 5mm opal. Pendant is roughly 2 1/4 tall and 1 1/4” wide, it comes with a complimentary 18” copper beaded or a black/brown nylon necklace and a gift box, ready for gifting! The back of the stone has some discoloration due to being left in oxidizing solution too long. Malachite should not get wet. It is a soft stone having a value of 3.5 to 4.0 on the Mohs Hardness Scale, which is below the minimum value required for minerals to be safe underwater. Moreover, its copper content can react adversely with water. All of my pieces are made with high quality wire from Riogrande. These are not costume pieces that will chip away or rust over time.
